| Region 2 Releases |
There are a number of films not available domestically that are available as Region 2 releases. While the majority of them should appear stateside eventually, those of us who don't want to wait can order these DVD's from the following companies (all are highly recommended). Please remember you need a region-free player and (if the discs are PAL) a multi-standard player or converter. Sazuma (Region 2 NTSC releases from Japan and Hong Kong) Blackstar (the best site for British PAL Region 2 releases) RPM Records (another great source for Japanese releases) Laser Exchange (domestic company that imports titles from all across the globe) |

Since both Ray and I own Apex 600A players we will periodically review import dvds. Some of the titles available in Region 2 are special editions of "The Mask of Zorro," "Glory" and "St. Elmo's Fire," as well as classics such as "Citizen Kane," "King Kong," and "Mighty Joe Young." A number of Ray's favorite cult films are available in Region 2 (Britain and Japan) and he'll be reviewing those as well. |
